For the most part, massage is scheduled in one-hour sessions. Other session lengths can be scheduled from 30 minutes ( which is used to work on specific problem areas only) up to two hours. An hour or 90 minutes is generally a good time period. Thirty minutes usually feels too short. Longer than an hour can be done depending on the clients ability to lie on a table for the desired length.
Reiki sessions are whatever length they need to be, usually no more than an hour. Since Reiki energy is channeled into the client until the body decides that it has had enough, no set time is given for a session. The average session is around 40 minutes to an hour.
A massage or Reiki session can be scheduled at any time, even outside of normal studio hours. Caring Palms is located in Neptune Beach (part of the Jacksonville beaches) in the Park Place office complex at 1112 Third Street, Suite 7.
