Well, I did my studying for the day, and I am as ready as I can be to take the test tomorrow.

One of the things I have gotten down in the last day is the meridian clock, and more things dealing with each part of it. The short explanation is that we have 12 lines of energy in our bodies called meridians. Along each line is a number of points, or specific energy spots. This is where acupuncture/acupressure is performed. During the day chi passes through each meridian for two hours. (Chi is the same as Ki in Reiki. It can also be known as Prana.) The idea is to draw a clock, marking the odd hours so that the range is noted, like in a grid, only a grid around a clock. Then one marks the meridians on the grid. For example, chi flows through the lung meridian from 3am to 5am, the Large Intestine meridian from 5am to 7am, etc.

Each meridian is either associated with the hand or the foot, which is how reflexology works, where the meridians are stimulated by pressing points on either the hands or feet. Then each meridian is associated with an element, and a color, and a season, and a sound, etc. It gets long and complicated. One day, I will have to do an entry just on the clock.

At any rate, I did my studying. I felt brain dead almost immediately. Then I ended up going to the mall and running around for an hour. This was my ‘fun’. I think the key is that I don’t know how to have fun anymore. That in itself is a scary thought. I did a couple hours of yard work , then vegged out the rest of the day.

Four weeks ago, I knew there was no fragging way I was going to be able to pass this test. A few days ago, I knew I could. Now I know I must. Knowing that I have to take the test by October 11, or pay another fee to take it, I decided to take it and hopes lightning will strike. I’m counting on the lightning.

Tomorrow I will get up, review some stuff, and then go take my test. No, change that. I will go pass my test. This is the mind frame I will need to be in, so I might as well get there now. Focus all prayers for about 14 hours from now. Counting down...
