OK, the schedule is set, at least until something screws it up.
I have contacted another massage school in town and found that they offer a class to prepare people for the boards (the test that when passed allows one to get a massage license). They offer it on the 21st, which is the only date before the time I have to take the test or lose my fee. I am going to try to schedule the test for the 24th, which is the Tuesday after the class.
The studying is not going so well. Work is interfering too much. I have been working too many hours which hasn't left me enough time to study, and it has not made it easy to remember anything.
Since my application fee is only good until October 11th, I will be taking the test before then, whether I am ready or not. Logic says that if I don't take it by then, I pay another fee. If I take it and fail, I take it again, and pay another fee. Sooo, I am going to take it. Who knows, lightning may strike.
I did two massages today. I need to keep doing more as I am getting rusty. It was nice to get tuned in again, and do the work. This affirmed to me that this is what I want to do.
