I taught a Reiki 1 class today that came about in an unusual manner. About two weeks ago, I had received a call from John about talking a Reiki class. I had things to do in the coming weekends, so I set him up for a class today. In the meantime, I knew I needed another student, or someone to help out as a body.

I had not asked any of my students, but had asked the neighbors to see if they would be interested in lying on a table. Usually, they are more than willing to pitch in. Unfortunately, they already had plans.

Then, out of the blue (and I love it when that happens), I got a call and an e-mail asking about classes the night before. After talking with Henry for a bit, I had two students for the class.

Class itself went very well. Henry found he could move and feel energies, which I think surprised him. John was so relaxed that he fell asleep while receiving Reiki from Henry.

Both students picked up things very quickly, and were doing very well before they left. I sent them out to practice, and get better and stronger. I don't know if either of them are looking to going any further, but whether they do or not, they will be very good practitioners if they continue to practice, and do healings.
