I just had a surprise. I just graduated school. Wow.
Graduation was supposed to be May 30th, but was moved up a week to May 24th because of the holiday weekend. Yesterday, we were then told that it would be moved up to the 16th, tomorrow. When we walked into class tonight and were told by the school’s owner that she had commitments for tomorrow, so we could either graduate tonight without a ceremony, or come back Monday. I think the general consensus was that we wanted out of there.
So, as of this evening, I is a maaasage skool gradiate. I kin werk wit mah hands.
I would say that I don’t know what I’ll do with the time I just got back, but I think I do. I’ll be studying for the national boards. The date of the graduation certificate reads May 30, 2002. Because of that it will be two weeks before the paperwork can be sent to the Board of Massage, and then three weeks before we hear back telling us what we have to do to get an appointment to take the test. We have up to a year to take it. Obviously I want to take it as soon as possible, yet I don’t want to take it until I’m ready. Right now, I don’t feel I know more than a third of what I need to pass it.
So, the next five weeks will be studying my butt off. The problem is that I think I will still have too much butt when I’m done.
