I taught Reiki 1 today. The class was a very interesting mix. One person was a working physicist, and the other was my massage teacher.
Class went very well, and both picked up quite a bit. For the physicist, this was a real leap of faith just coming here and getting into it. Most of his life is scientific facts, and this just doesn't fit into that. I figured that he was obviously called to do this. He came 100 miles from the Daytona area. Here we go again with students coming from long distances. Neat. He enjoyed the class, and I feel he will do real well.
My massage teacher also enjoyed class. She had taken Reiki 1 and 2 some seven or so years ago, and decided that she wants to move on with it. She told me that she was amazed at how much more I taught than her previous instructor. This is a story I keep hearing. I hope people keep feeling that way.
One other thing worth mentioning was the attunements. When I started doing the attunements, I suddenly felt the lightbody. I used that energy to fill my subjects as I started. It was all very neat.
