We had our first psychic fair of the year today. It was a very interesting time. I managed to do two massages, and two complete Reiki sessions, and one that was a little of each. And that last one was spectacular.

The day started out with me getting there on time for once. Everything was set up on time, including the new signs I had made. I had needed to change one of the pricing signs, and ended up playing with colors and styles on all of our inside signs. They looked real nice.

My first victim (uh, customer) was Jon, one of my students that came down because he was having trouble with his neck. I managed to get most of his problems removed, but not all. All too many problems can’t be solved in one sitting. I’m glad I got most of it, and he knows where I am when he feels he needs more work.

The second person I worked on was Chris. She looks forward to my being there every month. She says it helps her get through the next month.

After that, Bev came out of her session with Kay, and wanted a Reiki healing. Since I was the only one around doing that at the moment, I did the whole session by myself. She told me that it is better in a quieter atmosphere, like when she came over to the house that first time. She was wearing a red shirt, and her 6-year old son, Devner, was full of energy. Julia (who does the Spiritual Essence Portraits) told her that her son is picking up energy from the color of clothes she wears. She told Bev to dress him in pastels and muted colors.

Denver than wanted a healing. So, I worked on him a bit, and because he was overflowing with energy, I put a ground into him to slow him down a bit. I had set it to send his excess energy to the earth. I then set the ground to go back to normal at 5:00pm (yes, one can do that). Bev had been trying to control all his excess energy. She told me later, that after they left, he had calmed down and slept in the car, just what she wanted. J

There was another lady that had finished her reading with Kay, and wanted a healing. Since the other healers were busy working on someone, I took her to the back room where I do massage and worked on her there. She had a few physical problems, but only wanted Reiki. I still did a few massage moves when I was done with the energy. She left feeling much better.

My last customer of the day came in just before closing, and saw Kay first. She told us that she needed some healing, and wanted to know if there was any of us did both Reiki and massage. I smiled. She had problems with her neck, and I sensed some in her back as well. I worked on her neck and back for a while, then switched over to Reiki. While I was doing Reiki, she had a very dramatic release. Her story is a very unusual one.

Her father had died back in September, and she buried him in New Jersey on September 10th. At one point while she was at the funeral parlor, she saw her father. He told her goodbye, and stepped into a vortex of light. There was a part of her that was holding his hand, and went with him.

Now if that weren’t enough, the next morning, she was sitting on a balcony somewhere, when she saw this jet plane pass overhead. It was unusually low, and she reacted by yelling at it (and to God) to please pull up before it hit something. It was close enough to read all the writing on it and see some of the rivets. She did not see where it went. She went inside after it passed, and it was later that she saw the news. That plane was the first one to strike the World Trade Center.

During the healing session, she talked, and she cried. She released a lot of emotions that had pent up inside of her for some time. Since she had felt very scattered, when I was done with the Reiki, I walked her through a centering exercise. In this exercise, one visualizes themselves, then sees a lot of ‘copies’ of themselves around them. These ‘copies’ are stray thoughts... “I need to do this at work tomorrow”, “I better remember to pick up my laundry”, “I hope things go alright tomorrow.”

What one does then is reach out and, one at a time, pull each of these images into their center. She did this with each one she saw, and I pointed to one she missed. Then, I helped her reach way up, and pull down the one that had crossed to the other side (at least I think we got it). She felt very centered then. We hugged, and she cried some more, and we hugged. It felt so good to see her feeling better.

Like I said, all in all, it was an interesting day.
